Came here for assistance opening a home safe after my MIL passed away. The key & code weren't working. Wasn't sure where to take the safe, but saw the great reviews -- which are so well-deserved! Staff were empathetic, knowledgable and with their expertise, able to get the safe open keeping it intact. Their kindness was so appreciated at a difficult time. Highly recommend them for any locksmith or safe needs!

These guys are great. They have a large variety of key blank types and charged me only $5 to cut a relatively limited availability blank for my '68 VW ratrod. I tried ~10 other places, with almost no one having the template, and one place wanting to charge me $35. They are also friendly, which is a plus. I wanted 3 copies, so they cut one and said I should go home and try it first, and if it works then I could pay for the key, plus the 2 others. It came to only $15 for the 3 '68 VW keys. Sweet!

Very friendly staff and quick service

Good experience. Quick, efficient and knowledgeable, this shop was referred to me by Ace hardware on Lantana road (east of I-95) so I can get a duplicate copy of a difficult to copy old set of keys for a circular lock. Without hesitation they knew exactly what I needed and pleasantly took my order and completed it as I waited. The employees were very accommodating and nice to speak with as well. This locksmith seems very committed in helping their customers meet their needs.

I had the great pleasure of meeting Jules, Erica, and Jr. yesterday when I stopped in to have my car key blanks cut (no items they sold me). We ran into some issues, but the team there didn't stop until the figured it out. At the end, they took care of me and I left very happily satisfied.

Went here to get a replacement deadbolt and ask a question about a mortise lock. The staff was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. They were able to solve my problem and give me instructions on what to do. They really knew their stuff and went above and beyond in helping me with my lock issues. Oh My Goodness. My husband and I walked out of Godby Safe and Lock and spent NOTHING! Yet, Jules spent so much time with us explaining why he could not help us with a lock for our Kia 2020. He went through the books to show us the situation with our car. We bought a second hand car and were only given one key. We learned more in that 20 minutes than I have ever understood before. Remember, we spent nothing! I would recommend this company for any safe and lock needs that you have. You will NOT be oversold. You will understand exactly what you are purchasing and they will NOT sell you something that you do no need, It has been a long time since i felt that hometown service, like "Mom, Apple Pie, and the Girl Next Door." I literally left there wanting to pay him for his time!
